The Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Professional Conduct) Rules 1993 Approval Order 1993

Coming into force

1st April 1993

The Lord Chancellor and the Lord Advocate, in exercise of their powers under section 22(4) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1979^[1], and as respects proceedings in England and Wales and in Scotland, respectively, hereby approve the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Professional Conduct) Rules 1993 made by the United Kingdom Central Council for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting and set out in the Schedule hereto.

This Order may be cited as the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Professional Conduct) Rules 1993 Approval Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.
