The War Pensions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 7(3) of the Pensions (Navy, Army, Air Force and Mercantile Marine) Act 1939[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the War Pensions (Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st April 1993.
War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) Scheme 1964
2. In article 2(9) of the War Pensions (Naval Auxiliary Personnel) Scheme 1964[3] (definition of "public funds"), for the words "the Abolition of Domestic Rates etc. (Scotland) Act 1987" there shall be substituted the words "the Local Government Finance Act 1992[4]".
War Pensions (Mercantile Marine) Scheme 1964
3. In article 2(26) of the War Pensions (Mercantile Marine) Scheme 1964[5] (definition of "public funds"), for the words "the Abolition of Domestic Rates etc. (Scotland) Act 1987" there shall be substituted the words "the Local Government Finance Act 1992".
War Pensions (Coastguards) Scheme 1944
4. In article 1(10) of the War Pensions (Coastguards) Scheme 1944[6] (definition of "public funds"), for the words "the Abolition of Domestic Rates etc. (Scotland) Act 1987" there shall be substituted the words "the Local Government Finance Act 1992".
