The M66 Motorway (Manchester Outer Ring Road, Denton to Middleton Section) A663 Broadway All-Purpose Connecting Road Order 1993

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers: 1. The new highway which the Secretary of State proposed to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order shall become a trunk road as from the date when the Order comes into force. 2. The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan. 3. In this Order:
(1) "the deposited plan" means the plan numbered HA10/1CNW316 marked "The M66 Motorway (Manchester Outer Ring Road, Denton to Middleton Section) A663 All-Purpose Connecting Road Order 1993" signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY, and
(2) "the new trunk road" means the highway mentioned in article 1 above.
4. This Order shall come into force on 5th March 1993 and may be cited as the M66 Motorway (Manchester Outer Ring Road, Denton to Middleton Section) A663 Broadway All-Purpose Connecting Road Order 1993. Signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport
