The Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Guernsey) Order 1992

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 11th day of February 1992

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

    Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 108(1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Guernsey) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 11th March 1992.
        2.    The provisions of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 which are listed in Part I of Schedule 1 to this Order shall extend to the Bailiwick of Guernsey with the modifications specified in Part II of that Schedule.
        3.    The Orders specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby revoked to the extent that they relate to the extension to the Bailiwick of Guernsey of any enactment which is repealed by and re-enacted in the Civil Aviation Act 1982.
        4.    The Civil Aviation Act 1982 (Guernsey) Order 1986[2] is hereby revoked.

[1] 1982 c. 16; section 108(1) was amended by paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 4 to the Airports Act 1986 (c. 31) and the power in that provision was extended by section 4(3) of the Civil Aviation (Eurocontrol) Act 1983 (c. 11) and section 51(2) of the Aviation and Maritime Security Act 1990 (c. 31).
