The Charging Authorities (Notification of Precept Population) (Wales) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1991

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him bysections 73(1) and 140(4) of the Local Government Finance Act 1988[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Charging Authorities (Notification of Precept Population) (Wales) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 1991, and shall come into force on 31st October 1991. 2. Regulation 2 of the Charging Authorities (Notification of Precept Population) (Wales) Regulations 1989[2] shall be amended in accordance with regulation 3. 3. In the definition of "the relevant day", for "15th November" there shall be substituted "1st November".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)These Regulations amend the Charging Authorities (Notification of Precept Population) (Wales) Regulations 1989 so that the relevant day for the purposes of those Regulations will be 1st November, instead of 15th November, of the financial year preceding the financial year concerned. (The relevant day is the day which governs the time for the notification of certain population figures required for precepting purposes.)
