REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS, DEATHS, MARRIAGES, ETC.
The Adopted Children Register (Form of Entry) (Scotland) Regulations 1991

The Registrar General for Scotland, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 1 to the Adoption (Scotland) Act 1978[1] and with the approval of the Secretary of State, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Adopted Children Register (Form of Entry) (Scotland) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st July 1991.
Form of entry in the Adopted Children Register
2. The entry to be made in the Adopted Children Register pursuant to a direction contained in an adoption order shall be in the form set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
Revocation
3. The Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Adopted Children Register) (Scotland) Regulations 1975[2] are hereby revoked.
