The A421 Trunk Road (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Slip Roads) Order 1990

Coming into force12th November 1990

    The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers:
        1.    The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order which connect the main trunk road with another highway (the highways along these routes being in this Order referred to as "the slip roads"), shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
        2.    The centre line of each of the slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
        3.    In this Order-

        (1)  
       (i) "the deposited plan" means the plan numbered RSE/A421/ 1/65/2/2, marked "The A421 Trunk Road (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Slip Roads) Order 1990," signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY, and
       (ii) "the main trunk road" means the Wendlebury to Bicester Trunk Road (A421).

        4.    This Order shall come into force on 12th November 1990 and may be cited as the A421 Trunk Road (Wendlebury to Bicester Section, Slip Roads) Order 1990.
