The Patents (Amendment) Rules 1990

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 115(1) and 123(1) of the Patents Act 1977[1],after consultation with the Council on Tribunals pursuant to section 10(1) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1971[2], hereby makes the following Rules:—
        1.    The Rules may be cited as the Patents (Amendment) Rules 1990 and shall come into force on 13th August 1990.
        2.    Rule 90 of the Patents Rules 1982[3] is amended by omitting paragraphs (3) and (4) thereof.
