The Water Act 1989 (Commencement No.4) Order 1989

Made	3rd December 1989

The Secretary of State for the Environment, and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 194(4) of the Water Act 1989^[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation
    1.    This Order may be cited as the Water Act 1989 (Commencement No.4) Order 1989.

Provisions coming into force on 1st April 1990
    2.    Subsections (2)(c) and (3) to (7) of section 98 of the Water Act 1989 shall come into force on 1st April 1990.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 1st April 1990 subsections (2)(c) and (3) to (7) of section 98 of the Water Act 1989 (relating to statutory water companies).
