The Export of Sheep (Prohibition) (No. 2) Amendment No. 3 Order 1989

    The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 11 and 86 of the Animal Health Act 1981[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
    Title and commencement
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Export of Sheep (Prohibition) (No. 2) Amendment No. 3 Order 1989 and shall come into force on 2nd October 1989.
    Amendment of the Export of Sheep (Prohibition) (No. 2) Order 1987
        2.    The Export of Sheep (Prohibition) (No. 2) Order 1987[2] is hereby amended by substituting for article 2(4)(b) the following sub-paragraph-
        "(b) any sheep which was marked, as a condition of the granting of a consent under section 2(1) of that Act to its removal from a designated area-
          (i) with an apricot mark, in the case of a consent given on or before 30th July 1989; or
          (ii) with a green mark, in the case of a consent given on or before 2nd October 1988; or
          (iii) with a blue mark, in the case of a consent given on or before 8th January 1989.".
    Revocation
        3.    The Export of Sheep (Prohibition) (No. 2) Amendment No. 2 Order 1989[3] is hereby revoked.
