The A2 and the A205 Trunk Roads (Rochester Way and Westhorne Avenue Detrunking)Order 1989

Made21st August 1989
Coming into force14th September 1989

    The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and all other enabling powers:
        1.    The highways described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
        2.    In this Order the "deposited plan" means the plan numbered GLRT065/5012/34/TO1/5 marked "The A2 and the A205 Trunk Roads (Rochester Way and Westhorne Avenue Detrunking) Order 1989", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.
        3.    This Order shall come into force on 14th September 1989 and may be cited as the A2 and the A205 Trunk Roads (Rochester Way and Westhorne Avenue Detrunking) Order 1989.
