ELECTRICITY
The Electricity Act 1989 (Commencement No.1) Order 1989
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 113(2) of the Electricity Act 1989[1] and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Electricity Act 1989 (Commencement No.1) Order 1989.
2. —
(1) The provisions of the Electricity Act 1989 specified in the first column of Part I of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in the second column of that Schedule) shall come into force on 1st September 1989.
(2) The provisions of that Act specified in the first column of Part II of that Schedule (which likewise relate to the matters specified in the second column of that Schedule) shall come into force on 1st October 1989.
