ATOMIC ENERGY AND RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCES
The Atomic Energy Act 1989 (Commencement) Order 1989
The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 7(2) of the Atomic Energy Act 1989[1], and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Atomic Energy Act 1989 (Commencement) Order 1989.
2. The Atomic Energy Act 1989 shall come into force on 1st September 1989.
