The Reservoirs (Panels of Civil Engineers) (Reappointment) Regulations 1989

The Secretary of State for the Environment as respects England, the Secretary of State for Wales as respects Wales and the Secretary of State for Scotland as respects Scotland, in exercise of powers conferred on them by sections 4(2) and 5 of the Reservoirs Act 1975[1], hereby make the following Regulations: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1.(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Reservoirs (Panels of Civil Engineers) (Reappointment) Regulations 1989, and shall come into force on 15th July 1989.
(2) In these Regulations, "an existing panel" means any of the four existing panels established as a result of a determination of the Secretary of State under section 4(1) of the Reservoir Act 1975, namely, - (a) the Supervising Engineers Panel; (b) the All Reservoirs Panel; (c) the Non-Impounding Reservoirs Panel; and (d) the Service Reservoirs Panel.
Applications for reappointment 2.(1) An application by a civil engineer to be reappointed under section 4(2) of the Reservoirs Act 1975 to an existing panel shall be made to the Secretary of State for the Environment in writing, together with:- (a) the information set out in the Schedule to these Regulations; and (2) The prescribed fee is:- (a) in the case of the Supervising Engineers Panel, £115; (b) in any other case, £150.
