The A282 Trunk Road Dartford-Thurrock Approach Roads London Road (Slip Road) Order 1989

Coming into force15th June 1989

    The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him [2], and of all otherenabling powers:
        1.    The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order ("the new trunk road") shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.
        2.    The centre line of the new trunk road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
        3.    In this Order:—

        (i)  "the deposited plan" means the plan numbered RSE/A282/65/2/1 marked "The A282 Trunk Road Dartford-Thurrock Approach Roads London Road (Slip Road) Order 1989", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House,43 Marsham Street, London SW1 3PY;

        (ii)  "the trunk road" means the Dartford-Thurrock Trunk Road (A282).
        4.    This Order shall come into force on 15th June 1989 and may be cited as the A282 Trunk Road Dartford-Thurrock Approach Roads London Road (Slip Road) Order 1989.
