The Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) (Amendment) Order 1989

    In exercise of the powers conferred on me by paragraph 5(1) of the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985[1], I hereby make the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) (Amendment) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 29th May 1989.
        2.    In article 2(b) of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986[2] for "£30,000" there shall be substituted "£70,000".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)
    This Order amends article 2(b) of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986 so as to increase from £30,000 to £70,000 the fee payable to the Gaming Board for Great Britain for the continuing in force, for a period of three years, of a certificate issued by the Board to an organiser of games of multiple bingo under the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985.
