The Education (Higher Education Corporations) (Designated Staff) Order 1989

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 127(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988[1]the Secretary of State for Education and Science hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Higher Education Corporations) (Designated Staff) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 1st April 1989.
2. Those persons employed by a local education authority to work at an institution named in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order and who are named in column 2 of that Schedule are hereby designated for the purposes of section 127 of the Education Reform Act 1988.
