The Education Reform Act 1988 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1988

Made	14th November 1988

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 236(6) of the Education Reform Act 1988^[1] the Secretary of State for Education and Science hereby makes the following Order:

    1.    This Order may be cited as the Education Reform Act 1988 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1988.

    2.    The provisions of the Education Reform Act 1988 specified in column 1 of Schedules 1 and 2 to this Order (which relate to the matters mentioned in column 2 thereof) shall, except as otherwise provided in the said column 1, come into force on the date specified in relation to each Schedule in the following table—

Schedule 1	30th November 1988
Schedule 2	1st April 1989
