The Unitary Development Plans (Merseyside) (Appointed Day) Order 1988

The Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 4(1) of the Local Government Act 1985[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Unitary Development Plans (Merseyside) (Appointed Day) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 4th August 1988.
2. 4th August 1988 is appointed as the day on which Part I of Schedule 1 to the Local Government Act 1985 shall come into force in the areas of the local planning authorities listed in the Schedule hereto.
