The Transport Act 1981 (Commencement No. 13) Order 1988

Made	6th July 1988

The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Transport Act 1981^[1], and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:

    1.    This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 1981 (Commencement No. 13) Order 1988.

    2.    The 13th July 1988 is appointed as the day on which section 30(3) of the Transport Act 1981 comes into force in so far as it is not already in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order appoints 13th July 1988 for the purpose of the coming into force of section 30(3) of the Transport Act 1981 in so far as it is not already in force. Section 30(3) makes consequential and minor amendments to the Road Traffic Act 1972 (c. 20) and section 56 of the Criminal Justice Act 1967 (c. 80).
