The (A1) London—Edinburgh—Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1986 Variation Order 1988

The Secretary of State for Transport, makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers: 1. The (A1) London—Edinburgh—Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip Roads) Order 1986[3] is hereby varied by substituting, for the figure "1240", in Schedule 1 and in Schedule 3, the figure "1490".
2. This Order shall come into force on 21st April 1988 and may be cited as the (A1) London-Edinburgh-Thurso Trunk Road (Newcastle Western Bypass and Slip R<7F>ads) Order 1986 Variation Order 1988.
