The Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Guyhirn Diversion) (River Nene Bridge) Order 1987

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this order in exercise of powers conferred by section 106 of the Highways Act 1980[1], and now vested in him[2], and of all other enabling powers:
1. The Secretary of State is authorised to construct the bridge specified in the Schedule to this Order as part of the new trunk road referred to in the Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Guyhirn Diversion) Order 1987[3], in the manner shown in that Schedule.
2. In this Order-
(1) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway; and
(2) "the Trunk Road"
| means the Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47). |
3. This Order shall come into force on 11th December 1987 and may be cited as the Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Guyhirn Diversion) (River Nene Bridge) Order 1987.
