The London City Airport Shops Order 1987

Whereas it appears to the Secretary of State for Transport that London City Airport is an airport at which there is a substantial amount of international passenger traffic;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(2) of the Shops (Airports) Act 1962[1], and now vested in him[2], hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the London City Airport Shops Order 1987 and shall come into force on 20th November 1987.
2. London City Airport is hereby designated for the purposes of section 1 of the Shops (Airports) Act 1962[3] as being an airport at which there appears to the Secretary of State to be a substantial amount of international passenger traffic.
