The Hallmarking (International Convention) (Amendment) Order 1987

The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under sections 2(1)(c) and (3), 21(3) and 22(1) of the Hallmarking Act 1973[1] and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Hallmarking (International Convention) (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 3rd December 1987.
(2) The Hallmarking (International Convention) (Amendment) Order 1983[2] is hereby revoked.
2. Schedule 2 to the Hallmarking (International Convention) Order 1976[3] is hereby further amended by the substitution for the entry for Portugal of the entry set out in the Schedule hereto.
