The Local Authorities (Recognised Bodies for Heritable Securities Indemnities) (Scotland) Order 1987

Made30th July 1987
Coming into force13th August 1987

    The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 31(5A) of the Tenants' Rights, Etc. (Scotland) Act 1980[1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and with the consent of Treasury, hereby makes the following Order:
        1.    This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Recognised Bodies for Heritable Securities Indemnities) (Scotland) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 13th August 1987.
        2.    The bodies set out in Schedule 1 to this Order are hereby designated for the purposes of section 31 of the Tenants' Rights, Etc. (Scotland) Act 1980.
        3.    The classes or descriptions of bodies set out in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby designated for the purposes of section 31 of the Tenants' Rights, Etc. (Scotland) Act 1980.
